I am using Yahoo india server for data of the Indian stocke exchanges. I have found that the data displayed in the columns corresponds to some other fields. i have lodged an online complaint in this regard, though I have not yet got an acknowledgement of the same.

I am also finding,particularly for stocks quoted on NSE-India, that the software uses historical data to display values after trading hours. Ideally it should display the last intraday data so that we gat a clear idea of closing prices. The problem is compounded by the fact that Yahoo updates its historical data with a lag of 2-3 days.

Is there some way of resetting the data linkages with the display fields?

We're looking into it. I'm sorry it's taken a bit longer than I would have liked to get back to you, but we've been pretty busy on this end trying to get a major release of Personal Stock Streamer out the door.

One thing I should mention is that you should be able to get the same quotes as you get now on Yahoo India on several of the other Yahoo servers including Yahoo Singapore, therefore switching to use one of those servers may give you an immediate fix until we get a chance to look at Yahoo India specifically.

Hi!

Thanks for the tip. I switched the data server to Yahoo Singapore and things seem to be correct now. I will do a deailed check tomorrow and keep ypu posted.

Are you using the Yahoo India quote service? I believe their suffix is .NS for the NSE.

I agree that Yahoo singapore works for NSE symbols. But the advantage with Yahoo India is that it provides NSE quotes in realtime. Text from yahoo india site:
"Select a Symbol for a detailed quote. See delay times for exchanges.
Realtime NSE data provided by NSE India "
Using Yahoo Singapore, we loose this advantage.

I am not sure if the problem is with Yahoo India or PSM?

According to http://finance.yahoo.com/exchanges, "Quotes for National Stock Exchange of India are real-time for all users who have signed in." Since PSM can't sign in to Yahoo to get quotes, you're not really getting real-time unless you access the quote pages from their web site after logging into your Yahoo account.

can something be done to login to yahoo server from PSM.
What is the use of the option Network:QuoteServer:SavePassword?
